Memorial Day heralds summer. Those three May days supposedly set the tone for the favorite season of many.
Sunday and Monday of my Memorial Day weekend were distinct visually, if not tonally. I’m doing a two-part newsletter to show how different things can look and feel just one day apart. I’m not taking either day as a Punxsutawney Phil-ian sign of times to come other than a reminder that every season has light and dark, rush and rest, purpose and pointlessness.
